SALESIAN COLLEGE

History

When the Salesian Philosophate began in May 1982, the students of philosophy were temporarily accommodated in the Good Shepherd Seminary of the Diocese of Kohima. The Salesian community shifted from "Good Shepherd" to the present site on 24th March 1984, and the College was canonically erected on 24th November 1987.   The new building was inaugurated on 8th December 1983 by Fr. Tohill Bernard, Councillor for the missions.
