In a significant development, the new centre at Pagalam Tinali was started dividing it from Sadiya. In May 2006, Fr. Kakkanatt Chacko was transferred to Paglam as In-charge. It is hoped that the centre will hasten the development of the area. The centre is located between two rivers across the Brahmaputra River.
